More than ever, with the critical issues facing Florida, we need responsible, courageous, honest, and experienced leaders in the State Capitol who are trained to get the job done, from day one. That's why I'm asking for the opportunity to be your State Senator.

As a member of the Florida Legislature, I have chaired important committees and worked to maintain our state's balanced budget. At the same time, I've been a leader in economic development issues in attracting high-wage jobs to our part of Florida. I am proud to have received over 20 Legislator-of-the-Year awards for championing the causes of children, families, agriculture, schools and small businesses.

Northwest Florida is where my family calls home, and when I vote in the State Capitol, I use my vote so that my family and yours can flourish in this great state. I am proud of my reputation as an elected official: a no-nonsense, hard worker who always stands up for the interests of his constituents.
